NDTA GovTravels Recap 2023
Our team was thrilled to network and meet with travelers, vendors, and more at this year's GovTravels conference

The National Defense Travel Association (NDTA) GovTravels conference returned to an in-person format for the first time since 2020 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. The purpose of GovTravels is to bring together experts from across the federal government and the travel industry to build relationships, exchange ideas, discuss issues, educate, and find ways to improve government readiness.
The conference had record high attendance this year with over 800 attendees ranging from civilian government and defense travelers, travel management companies and vendors from the airline, hotel, and car rental industries. FedRooms and DoD Preferred provided an update to industry on 2022 successes, what to expect in 2023 and reiterated program benefits such as the 4 pm day of arrival cancellation policy in the U.S., free Wi-Fi and federal travelers who book our rates are free from add-ons like resort or destination fees. Also, for the first time ever, FedRooms and DoD Preferred hosted a booth in the exhibit hall and were able to interact with a steady stream of travelers and hoteliers to create awareness and discuss topics that were important to them. It was a wonderful networking opportunity, and we hope to see you there in 2024!
